Getting Started
When you first join, do not rush straight into late-game systems. The early NPC quests are there to teach the server and lead you toward the important unlocks.
- Create or enter your island and secure basic resources.
- Return to spawn and follow the starter dialogue instead of skipping NPCs.
- Build a small renewable farm so you always have something to sell or use.
- Start mining when the mine is available, but expect stone to be the most common block.
- Use quests to unlock the next systems, especially dungeon progression.
- For your first class, get a Sword Handle from the Blacksmith and bring it to Wilfred, the Grandmaster.
Economy
Velora's economy works best when you have more than one source of income. Farming is reliable, mining can produce rarer materials, and combat progression gives access to items that are harder to obtain.
- Build repeatable farms before spending heavily on upgrades.
- Compare what an item is worth before turning every resource into another form.
- Use player trading and the auction system when an item is worth more to another player than to a basic sell route.
- Keep quest materials until you know they are not needed for an unlock.
Custom Farming
Velora includes custom crops such as strawberries, corn, pineapple, tomato, blueberries, Warped Cane and Crimson Cane. Farming is therefore more than repeating vanilla wheat or pumpkin forever.
- Unlock or obtain the crop's seed.
- Build enough space to grow it without crowding your island progression.
- Harvest and compare whether the crop is better sold, used in food, or saved for quests.
- Talk to Jacob when his farming progression becomes available.
The item wiki shows the custom crop textures so players can recognize them in-game.
Mining
The mine is designed with a stone-heavy block mix so rare ores stay valuable on SkyBlock. Custom ores such as Raw Cobalt and Raw Mithril are part of island progression and are not meant to appear immediately.
- Custom ores only start appearing from your island cobblestone generator after you reach Island Upgrade Level 4.
- Use Raw Cobalt and Raw Mithril to make their ingots, then craft better custom tools and weapons.
- The boss that spawns in the mines can drop the Cursed Pickaxe.
- Mine consistently across multiple resets rather than judging the mine from one small section.
Dungeons
Dungeon order matters because the campaign is written around three milestones: LOH → Demon Castle → Prism Nexus.
- Talk to Darcy and make sure the correct story requirement is completed.
- Prepare your gear and supplies before entering.
- Complete LOH before treating Demon Castle as your next dungeon goal.
- Use dungeon rewards to improve your build instead of immediately selling everything.
- Expect a cooldown between repeated dungeon runs.

Cosmetics
Liana is the cosmetics-related NPC. Her content is meant to feel like an unlock rather than a shop dumped on the player immediately.
- Complete Liana's required interaction or quest first.
- After the unlock, use her cosmetic shop/menu for available cosmetics.
- Cosmetics are separate from the main combat power route.
